Anteroom

About this Short Film

Anteroom is a poetry short film, following a young person who has found themselves in an overstimulating, perpetual waiting room, where time moves differently. In this stagnant, liminal space, she relies on self soothing rituals, knowing glances for connection and grounding glimmers of hope. The film culminates in a lighter, more peaceful liminal pathway, from which the young person first discovers a satiety, a sense of peace and ultimately a glimpse of future freedom.
