Lil Juno... Stay Weird (2026), film still

Lil Juno... Stay Weird

About this Short Film

In this short animation, a young girl named Juno hits the stage to tell some jokes about her life and the labels people stick on us. She pokes fun at her "gifted" brother and her own habit of daydreaming in class, but the real star of her set is her great Aunt June. Juno points out the irony, that while people treat her aunt differently because she’s in a wheelchair, her aunt is actually a total "tactical genius", while Juno herself can barely walk across a flat rug without tripping. It’s a funny, down-to-earth take on what it actually means to be "normal," ending with a simple idea: labels say more about us than they do about the people we place them on.
