About this Short Film
‘People’ is a short film created by Rubab and Tilly, students in Secondary 5 at Nepean School, in collaboration with their classmates and staff. Through the stories of people with disabilities across different ages, the film explores the unique challenges individuals may face throughout their lives while emphasising the importance of accessibility, inclusion and understanding. Although every person's experiences are different, the film shares a powerful message: beyond our disabilities, we are all people who deserve to be seen, valued, and treated with dignity, respect and equal opportunities.

Wow. I thank you dearly for the insight, all of you. I felt emotion, with this one, and learned how life is for others, and learned that confidence of self can be broken in others—not just me (by the orphanage, domestic and other adult abusers...): that's why I'm voting. Some disabling elements of a person's life are visible (and unfortunately at times, perceived as disabling); some a secret maintained through a life strained, thwarted, mental; and others "just are", yet are so determinedly NOT indicative of the person, personality, character, will, aspirations of the person who "just are" otherwise to me. Really felt for this. And I thank you. Noeleen
