Despite living with debilitating pain and physical limitations, multi ward winning filmmaker Neville Hiatt set out to bring NHAF’s song Popcorn Love to life on screen. What followed was one of the most challenging, yet rewarding creative experiences of his life. In this honest behind-the-scenes documentary, Neville opens up about the joy, laughter, and physical pain involved in making a film about enduring love. When his dear friends Joel and Rachel bravely stepped in front of the camera for the first time to play Daniel and Hayley, their genuine warmth, natural chemistry, and unstoppable laughter completely transformed the project. Together they turned Neville’s original concept into something far more beautiful and authentic than he had imagined. Filled with tender moments, honest struggles, and the real emotions of filmmaking with disability, this documentary is a love letter to friendship, resilience, and the quiet courage it takes to keep creating. It’s a story about how love, both on screen and behind the camera, can turn pain into something meaningful and lasting.
